It’s a long and complicated story, but the short version is that I’m moving out. I don’t suppose the details really matter anymore. I’m ready for the next chapter of my life.
Tentatively speaking, I’m moving in with a friend sometime in the next week. She and I have discussed it, and we’re meeting on Saturday just to firm up details and make sure it’s the best decision for both of us.
While I’m living with her, I will be looking for an apartment of my own. I’ve already found one that I really like and the price is reasonable. But I would still like to devote some more time to the search before signing a lease. Living with my friend will give me that flexibility.
Meanwhile, Brandon has been the most wonderful and supportive manfriend I could ever ask for. He obviously took on a lot when he started dating me, so I must be something special.
Nathan,
I can’t even imagine how hard it has been to live in your shoes. To have to live with someone when you’re going through what you are going through. I’m glad you have a friend that can help you out and I am sure you will be much more happy now. Hang in there buddy, things will get better!
Thanks so much Dan
They already are!
I am very happy for you. It sounds like getting out of the house is what you need. It’s good to see you’re making these good choices and bettering your situation.
So many times have I seen people constantly live in a difficult situation when it can be prevented. Props to you for getting out. Have a wonderful time with Brandon.
Glad to hear it! Put on some pretty panties and thank that new manfriend of yours with a nice dinner.
Oh boy. Look out!
You are definitely something special, Nathan, and it sounds like Brandon is as well. I guess you 2 deserve each other!
And moving away from your ex is such an important step for both of you–I am so very happy for you!
Good for you, Nathan!
You are so worth all of this, special doesn’t even begin to describe you. Things are going to be great.
xoxo
I’m overwhelmed by the kindness, as always. Thank you!
And Chris, don’t you worry. I’ve got the pretty panties covered, hehe.
As for you… Butter… How did I get so lucky to have you in my life? I can’t wait to see you tomorrow. xoxo
Wow! That is some excellent news, Nathan! This will go very far to relieve your anxiety & help with your depression. What’s going to happen with your resident animals? Are any going to go with you or are you going to visit? I am so very happy that you have wonderful friends like your future roommate and an excellent manfriend like Brandon to share happiness with you in the present and in the future. Do you know what is going to happen with your business? As I remember, it was jointly owned.
Hugs & Kisses from The Minx!
Thanks Minx! Rodney is getting the dog, which is really going to hurt. I think I’ll miss that dog more than I’ll miss Rodney! haha! And I’m getting the cats, which is just fine with me. I enjoy seeing two bundles of fur curled up at the foot of the bed when I wake up in the morning.
I may not have to be roommates with my friend after all because I have my eye on a few places to live. But she’s still a very sweet friend to offer her home to me. I spent this afternoon at her place.
And Brandon is just… well… more than I could have ever asked for. A blessing.
The business stuff is undecided. We’ll see
Thanks for the support!
I know it was a tough decision, but congratulations working through the decision. Things will go well for you, and get better, as they appear to be doing.
I’m sure you may miss Petey more than Rodney, I know I miss my “kids” more than Evil Ex #1 or Ex #2.
Good for you moving on. It not is not an easy move by no means but it is the best move.
