The more I ponder this, the deeper it gets.

“Every decision you make - every decision - is not a decision about what to do. It’s a decision about Who You Are. When you see this, when you understand it, everything changes. You begin to see life in a new way. All events, occurrences, and situations turn into opportunities to do what you came here to do.”

And that quote sort of reminds me of you…..yes,you! It was 15 years ago today that my dad died. And I remember two years ago tonight….at precisely the very moment of his death….that you text messaged me while I was in a hotel room on a layover in San Diego. Those things mean the world, Nathan. It makes the quote’s meaning quite clear.

This reminds me of Thih Nhat Hanh’s 5 remembrances. The last paragraph of which is: “My actions are my only true belongings. I cannot escape the consequences of my actions. My actions are the ground on which I stand.” I find both quotes very hopeful.
