Nathan Exposed » 7 Year Anniverary

Today marks 7 years that Rodney and I have been together.

If you asked me what the secret to a long lasting relationship was, I couldn’t tell you. I guess there is no secret… you either stay together or you don’t. Pretty easy, eh?

We had a great dinner at one of our favorite restaurants, Demo’s. It’s a local restaurant, soooo good. It’s been a beautiful spring weathered day. Our anniversary always has good weather, so that’s a nice bonus.

My friends always ask what we’re doing on our anniversary, and I always laugh because that’s such an unusual question. What do you think we’re doing? So I purposely mentioned the dinner so nobody would ask what else we did.

Seeing how you and Rodney are in-person (not many of your readers can say that!), I have to say that I completely see why both of you are together. You’re both the sweetest, most sincere and most considerate people I have ever met. The amount love and care that you guys show each other (remember the night it was POURING in NYC and you wanted to share your umbrella-ella-ella-ay-ay-ay with Rodney but he wanted to make sure you stayed dry, so he put up his hood and kept walking? That was SUPREMELY sweet), it’s amazing. You don’t see that in couples who have been together as long as you much, much less a year.

Congratulations to you both… And yeah, knowing how you guys are, I’m sure you poked like rabbits all night long.

Wow. 7 years? I bet if feels like a couple months, right? I’ve been with my boyfriend for about 5 months now and it feels like it’s only been a week or so. Time flies by so quickly. Congratulations

HMM? another March anniversary, seems to be a good month to meet one’s partner. Congrats to you both! Staying together for a long time takes a lot of commitment and a whole lot of work but in the end the benefits are priceless. Here’s to more happy, wonderful years to two very lovely people!
