Today I had Comcast’s phone service installed. It’s $24.95 a month, and I’ve had it before, so I thought I’d give it a whirl again. I’ve went a year using only my cell phone, with no land line.
Whenever a straight man is coming over, specifically a Comcast one, I have to make sure and clear out everything in their path. I don’t know what it is, but they just seem to be big husky men who fall over everything.
So this afternoon I was greeted by 2 Southern gentlemen from Comcast. They were cute and nice as could be. They even called me “sir” which I love it when straight men call me that. There’s something hot about it.
Anyway, I led them upstairs to my office (where the modem is) and they almost fell down the stairs. Then they came in the room and just swung into action, plopping stuff on my desk, sitting in my chair, running cords all over the place. It was a good thing I took everything off my desk and even moved the trashcan in advance.
They were wowed by my MacBook Pro and incredibly small Airport. Then they started getting excited by my computer’s features. “Whoa, that’s sooo cool!”. It’s called OS X boys.
When they left, their big footsteps on the stairs shook the whole house. My office smelled “straight-manny”. Kinda stinky, but kinda sexy, you know. Like big sweaty men who’d been in the sun all day.
It was fun having them in the house. They were very cute and charming, and they liked my computer. But I was relieved to be able to put my stuff back in order again.
