Some of you may remember in October when my friends James and Garrett needed a name for their new baby pug. They finally decided on Gus (short for Angus).

I thought you’d all appreciate this new photo of Gus, channeling his inner Marilyn Monroe.

Ok- I am Gus’ daddy. Here is another update- a week ago Mr. Gus jumped off the bed and BROKE HIS KNEE. He was already scheduled to have his neuter and a nose job (his nose was too small to breathe out of). Anyway, the xrays showed he had a massive break and had to have surgery on the knee too. So friday the little guy got a new nose, his balls removed, and 2 titanium pins put in his knee. He is doing fine. Other than being 25% shaved and having to wear the big no-lick collar he doesn’t know anything happened. My bank account knows though! 3 grand for puppy surgery! Crazy! I am taking donations at …. (just kidding)
