what does this color mean?

crayons Remember what it felt like when you opened up a new box of crayons? Remember the smell? Remember the excitement? A whole new box of fresh, sharpened crayons. There were no limits to where your imagination could take you with your new crayons.

Now pick a color. It doesn’t have to be your favorite color, any color will do. Just pick a color that appeals to you right now. Don’t second guess yourself. You’re looking at this big box of crayons. Which one do you want?

Do you have your color?

Good. Now describe it in a few words or a few sentences. Let’s pretend I don’t know what the color red is, for example. Pretend you are red. Tell me what red is.

For example, you might say “I am red. I am warm, cozy, and bold.” Or maybe it’s “I am red. I am wild, loud, and demand your attention.”

Remember, I have no idea what the color means, so you have to tell me.

I am shinny white. I am all light, all that’s pure, all that’s clean. I am the colour that gets dirty the quickest and the one that never gets used.

I am Mediterranean maroon, like the sea itself. I follow my passions and love a deep merlot wine to unwind.

I am tangerine. I am bright with subtly restful undertones that encourage the artist to have fun. I’m sharp and sweet, tangy and juicy. Some prefer a blander flavor, but those who like intensity in their color and flavor love me and reach for me all the time.

I’m silver. Bright, Shiny, Expensive, Understated (compared to gold!) and not really a colour.

I was planning on answering this yesterday but didn’t get a chance to…

I’m orange… mixture of yellow and red. Very distinct and stands out, and likes it that way. Easily matched, but doesn’t always look good with other colors. Very picky especially when trying to determine what looks good with me. Oh, and orange is a very modest color too.
