Here’s an interesting topic for you. And I honestly don’t know how I feel either way.
Do men have a monthly cycle similar to a woman’s?
It’s a complicated question. Ask any woman who has lived with a man, and she swears men have their own version of a period. Ask any man and he immediately denies it. So it’s really hard to get insight.
I’ve done some research and apparently there is a phase each month when men’s testosterone levels shift, causing a change in their behavior and irritability. Some men become more sensitive or aggressive. During this period, men are also more likely to feel bloating and a shift in weight. Because of their hormones, there will also be an increase in hair growth.
It’s difficult to find solid evidence. Men don’t ovulate, so they also don’t bleed. That makes it harder to prove. I do admit there are times when I feel more aggressive than usual. I don’t pay a lot of attention to it, but I suppose there are times when my hormones and testosterone shift, turning me into a gigantic asshole.
But I can’t pinpoint the timeframe. I think it’s at the end of the month.
Anyway, what are your thoughts?
