Girl, What Is on Your Feets?

Clearly I am in the minority with this boots craze.
Everywhere I go, women have on boots. Short boots, tall boots, furry boots, hooker boots. You’d think we live in Alaska. But I do believe in democracy, so I guess the people have spoken.
Nonetheless, I think this outfit has a whole lot of wrong.

Nathan….I agree. Unless you’re in the field, i.e. construction, horseback, etc., then why would a woman wear boots. The answer is simple….fashion. Woman are always trying to re-invent the fashion wheel. I used to work in the shoe industry while in college, I can I can tell you that women pay top dollar for shoe fashions that are not made particularly well….hollow heels, thin soles, etc. And another crazy thing is that woman buy shoes to impress other woman….not their spouse or boyfriend. I can remember a designer wearing Uggs and I commented that they were aptly name…..big mistake…..a circumcision would have been more welcomed!
Definitely you’re in the minority. I mean, I don’t care one way or the other. But they are VERY popular with all age groups……I see them on the airplane regularly. Well, I see LOTS of things, quite frankly….

sometimes i wish i had business cards made that just say, “You Need a Gay!” with my name and number on it. just so i could walk up to some of these girls, hand them a card and say, “call me, we’ll go shopping sometime and fix…(looks at her outfit)…that.”
Well, I did give up my retro white go-go boots a few years ago, but I still love the song “These Boots are Made for Walking” (only the Nancy Sinatra original!)
Just don’t start in on my Crocs….

Really? I like boots, especially on men. This one cute gay guy from Spain wore them to school often, was very sexy!
