Random Tidbits
- We spent the weekend with our family in Illinois. We stayed at my parents’ new house in the woods. The temperature wasn’t bad and we slept with the windows open and the sounds of nature outside. Very relaxing. We also watched a deer eating grass in the backyard. My parents are so excited about this.
- Speaking of critters, a skunk has been hanging around our backyard. Our dog Petey tends to like charging towards things, so I can just see this as a disaster waiting to happen.
- A new gym opened down the street. I’ve always wanted to join a gym. It’s a 12 month commitment with auto-draft from our checking account. The gym is nice, but I can just see myself getting lazy after 3 months and being stuck with the membership fees for 9 more.
- Your thumb is the same length as your nose.

There is something horribly compelling about windows open at night….the breeze, the noises. I love it. A lot. As for the gym, we tried it. Six months. Three times a week. I hated every minute of it. Couldn’t stand it. In spite of the fact that I know I should be there….and in spite of the fact that I’m seriously considering going back right now. Ugh.
You know, your feet are as long as your arm is from your elbow to your wrist too.
