If you haven’t been following the legacy of my hair, let me get you caught up.
I hate my hair. It’s soft, wimpy hair that has no volume and no depth. But I’ve been working with a very talented stylist to get it just right.
We started in November. By Christmas, I had the most awesome hair (in my humble opinion). Even when I got sick on Christmas day and had to go to the hospital, my hair was fabulous.
I’ve continued getting it styled every month to keep it trimmed. I also do blonde highlights at home.
So on Friday night, I was due for another visit to the stylist. Everything was going great, and I just needed it trimmed. For some crazy ass reason, I thought it would be cool to shave off all my hair and get rid of the blonde.
I came home from work and washed it, then took out the clippers and shaved it all off. Rodney helped cut off the back. Then I dyed it brown to get out the lingering blonde highlights.
I kind of like it. It doesn’t require any hair products or any maintenance. But when I see photos of myself on my blog, I feel sad and feel like all this time and money has been wasted.
Whatever, it’s just hair. Let me go check and make sure I still have my balls

After studying both pictures, I think I can conclude, you are cute in both, and the hair does not matter.
You didn’t mention this the other day! It’s great, although I’m a big fan of your old hair – is that why you removed your banner? I’m glad to see the legs back – just don’t shave them our you’ll need to change the banner one more time!

See? Now there ya go! It’s all about low-maintenance, baby! I’ve always had short hair and went through those stages where I dyed it (to a color no one even noticed), moussed it, gelled it, sprayed it, pomaded it, etc. All that shit does is: [1] Cost $, [2] Give you dandruff, [3] Get sticky when it rains (and God forbid the shit runs into your eyes! F I R E!) and [4] Makes it look like you’re trying too hard. Like the saying goes: Keep It Simple , Stupid. I couldn’t agree more. Welcome to the softer side of Sears simpler side of things. It looks A-1!
When I was a kid, I had long curly hair and everybody loved it, except for me, of course. As I grew up, I kept cutting it shorter and shorter and I have to say that I love my hair short. Have thought about dying it, but have never gone through with it and I am glad that I haven’t. I rarely use gel. Instead, I use silk therapy quite a bit. Enjoy your new hair cut. I think it looks better.
